Urubici is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is located at an altitude of 918 meters. Its estimated population in 2019 was 11,235 inhabitants. It has an area of ​​1019.1 km². At the summit of Morro da Igreja (1,822 meters), the highest inhabited point in southern Brazil, located in the municipality, the lowest temperature in the country was unofficially recorded: −17.8 °C, on June 29 from 1996.
